Flowers

If you would like to make a donation towards the cost of the flowers, please place it in one of the “Flower Boxes” which are located near the church doors each Sunday morning.

If you wish to commemorate a special date please contact us using the form at the bottom of the page.
If you are willing to arrange flowers, this would be greatly appreciated and you are asked to contact Alison Bennet, or submit the form at the bottom of the page.

Donations are received via the Flower Boxes in the vestibule and also from members of the congregation who wish to have an allocated date in the year when they make their donation directly to the donations convener.

After the service each Sunday the flowers are distributed to bereaved, ill or elderly members and friends of the congregation.  Occasionally, after weddings, larger floral displays are delivered to local homes such as Walker Gardens.  Flowers are also donated twice per year to the Hospital Chaplaincy at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for the benefit of those using the chapel.  This is organized by Margaret Robinson who also prepares the rota of flower deliverers and chauffeurs.

If you know of anyone who should receive the church flowers, or if you would like to become a flower deliverer or chauffeur, please contact Margaret Robinson, as more volunteers would be appreciated.

We take this opportunity to thank all who already participate in our church flower organisation.
